The short version: Tickertaka is a free game played with pretend money. Play fair, one account each, and have fun.

Who we are

Tickertaka is run by Ollywood Games ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Tickertaka.

A free game

Tickertaka is free to play. There is nothing to buy, no subscription and no in-game purchases.

Credits are virtual

Credits, shares and dividends exist only inside the game. They have no cash value, can never be bought with real money, and can never be sold, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, goods or anything else. They don't belong to you as property; they are a way of keeping score.

Not gambling, no prizes

You can't stake real money, so Tickertaka is not gambling or a betting service. There are no prizes unless we clearly say otherwise for a specific competition, with its own rules published at the time. Leaderboard places and titles are for bragging rights only.

Who can play

You must be 13 or older. If you are under the age at which you can agree to these terms where you live, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.

Fair play

• One account per person. Don't create extra accounts, share accounts, or use other people's.
• No bots or scripts. Trade by hand, through the site. No automated trading, scraping or hammering the servers.
• No exploiting bugs. If you find one, tell us through feedback rather than profiting from it.
• Be decent. Usernames and league names must not be offensive, impersonate someone, or break the law.

If an account breaks these rules we may reset its balance, remove trades, remove it from leaderboards or leagues, rename it, or close it, without notice.

We can change the game

Tickertaka is a game we are still building. We may change the rules, prices, payouts, scoring or features, fix mistakes (including reversing trades or dividends that came from an error), reset balances or league tables, start a new season, or close the game. We'll update the How it works page when the rules change, and these terms when they change; the date at the top says when.

Football data

Player and match data comes from the Fantasy Premier League. Tickertaka is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Premier League or any club. Data can be late, wrong or corrected afterwards, and the game follows the data it receives.

The service as it is

We provide Tickertaka "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or that your data will never be lost. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from using it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Your account

You need a working email address you control to sign up; it's how you confirm the account and reset your password. Keep your password safe and don't share your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can also use your local courts.
